Alanya Archaeology MuseumMuseum was opened in 1967. There are 14 close and 1 open halls in it. The most important piece of the Alanya Museum is little bronze Heracles (the Greek name for Hercules) statue, which remains from the 2nd century.
The other creations exhibited in the museum:
Bronze age, Urartu, Frigya and Lydia creations.
Bowls, crocks of Hellenistic age.
Rich Rome age creations.
Coin collections of Hellenistic Rome, Byzantine, and Islamic ages.
Atatürk House and Museum
The founder fo the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Atatürk visited this house on 18 February 1935. Then the owner of the house Rıfat Azakoğlu donated his house to the ministerial of culture and tourism.
In 1986, the house was opened as museum by the president Kenan Evren.
